There will be a Simple Soup Supper and a worship service of Communion, Reflection on the Word and the Imposition of Ashes.

Lenten Services

Easter is the journey to the celebration of Christ's Resurrection. We prepare for Easter during Lent's 40 days of reflection and prayer. Covenant invites you on a journey of self-examination, discipline, and renewed focus on Jesus that will prepare our hearts and minds for the Resurrection Celebration!

This Lenten study offers us an opportunity to experience the full story of Jesus' life and the passion through the Gospel of Mark.

Beginning February 26 at 9:15 a.m. in the Lounge, we will begin our journey together toward Easter. Each session will include opportunities for spiritual growth and a time to pray and meditate.

Our exploration will include reading scripture, activities, and discussions that will enrich you!

Journey Through Lent

Join us as we journey through lent on an inward pilgrimage. We will attend to God's presence in our lives through experimental prayer practices and sacred and secular writings. Meet with Emily Jacobson every Sunday during Lent following coffee hour (except the first Sunday of Lent, due to the Church Retreat.)

All are welcome to join us at any point of the 40-day journey.

Youth Leader Wanted

●Community ID Program at TASK will be held Tuesday, February 7, at 9:30 a.m. at the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen, 72 ½ Escher Street, Trenton. We will meet at the church. No experience is necessary. If you know of someone who needs proof of identification, please inform them of this program, and the dates on which we hold programs at Covenant. Why not volunteer to help? ●Covenant Member Harriette Williams will present a program at the Ewing branch of the Mercer County Library during Black History Month. Her program will be on Civil War hero, Robert Smalls, the first freed slave to serve in the Union Army. He was Harriette's paternal step-great grandfather. Her presentation will start at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 11. All are welcome to attend.

Wonderland Tea.
Join us in Wonderland in Fellowship Hall at Covenant.
There will be entertainment and a silent auction! This is shaping up to be another exciting and fun tea! If you are bringing a child, we encourage them to dress in costume! Some of our hostesses will be dressed too! For tickets, call Rae at the church office, 609.989.8282. The cost is $25 per adult before March 1 (cost will be $30 after March 1 - so hurry!); and $12 per child (ages four through 10) before March 1 ($15 after).
