NAMI Family-to-Family
Course On Thursday, Sept. 9, NAMI Mercer (National Alliance on Mental Illness) will begin its fall semester of Family-to-Family, a free, 12-week education course for adult family members of persons living with mental illness. The course covers the biology of brain disorders; diagnostic criteria for the major mental illnesses, including schizophrenia, major depression, bipolar disorder, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder and borderline personality disorder. Classes will be held on 12 consecutive Thursday nights from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at the NAMI Center of Mercer County, 3371 Brunswick Pike, Suite 124 (adjacent to Mercer Mall) in Lawrence Township.
